Volleyball Heads to Lynchburg for Liberty Tournament

Murray State volleyball (2-0) goes back on the road for the Liberty Tournament at Lynchburg, Virginia, Sept. 2-3.

The Racers starts the tournament with a double-header against Winthrop (0-3) and UNC Wilmington (0-2), Friday. To wrap the tournament, MSU will face hosts, Liberty on Saturday.

History

This will be Murray State's second appearance at the Liberty Tournament. Their first appearance was in 2014.
Murray State has only played against Liberty once where the Racers won 3-1 in 2014.
Racers has also only met Winthrop once, Racers won 3-1 in 2015.
This will be the Racers' first meeting against UNC Wilmington.
