Racers Host New Division I Member Lindenwood

Top goal scorer Morgan Bodker leads Murray State women's soccer as they take on Lindenwood on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Cutchin Field in Murray, Kentucky. The match will serve as senior day for the 2022-23 seniors of the Racers squad.

Last time out, seniors Lauren Payne and Marti Floyd led the Racers offensive opportunities while Jenna Villacres impressed in goal with five saves for MSU. Other seniors set to be honored include goalkeeper Jamie Skarupsky, forward Parker Greer, defender Saraya Young, and midfielder Grace Bodker.

The meeting between the two sides will be the first-ever matchup as the Lions join Division 1 in 2022.

Scouting Report
Lindenwood comes into the match at 3-3-1 with a 5-1 defeat against Illinois State in their last time out.

Rachel Jackson is the leading scorer for LU with three goals on the campaign. Sam Blazek leads the Lions defense with 32 saves and nearly 500 minutes played as the primary goalkeeper.
