Racers Set to Kick Off the Year at Vanderbilt

Murray State track and field set to compete at Commodore Challenge

Murray State track and field opens its 2023 year at the Commodore Challenge, Friday and Saturday. The meet will begin with the high jump event at 1 p.m.

This meet will be MSU's first meet after winter break. Before the holidays, the Racers posted record-breaking performances at Illinois State, with Amirr Evans breaking the 1,000m school record. At the same time, Kayla Bell, Rachel Hagans and Jenna Pauly posted top-five all-time performances.

The Racers were picked to place third in the MVC preseason polls.
