Racers Set For Senior Day Matchup With The Salukis

Murray State aims to secure a third-straight win in conference play on Sunday against Southern Illinois.

The Murray State women's soccer team is slated to face off with the Southern Illinois Salukis at Cutchin Field on Sunday, October 15 at 1 p.m.
Prior to Sunday's match, there will be a recognition of the seniors in the soccer program for their efforts to the Blue and Gold throughout their careers. The seniors being recognized on Sunday are Chloe Barnthouse, Hailey Cole, Aly Goodman, Audrey Henry, Reyna Mijangos, and Morgan Parker.
The Racers look to maintain their momentum as the regular season nears the end, with consecutive wins in their last two matches and just one loss in their last seven.
Cole and Griselda Revolorio were awarded MVC Player and Goalkeeper of the Week on Tuesday for their efforts in a 2-0 week against Northern Iowa and Illinois State.
Mary Hardy leads the team with five goals scored, 12 points notched, 40 shots taken, and 23 shots put in frame. She also ranks in the top 10 in the MVC in shots and points, and top three in goals.
Cole has four goals on the year, the second-most on the team behind Hardy and tied for the 10th-most in the league.
Going into the match, Revolorio is second in the conference in save percentage (0.848) and goals allowed average (0.73). Her Goalkeeper of the Week award was the second time this season she has received the honors.
MSU ranks in the top five in the Missouri Valley in shots (166), goals (13) and saves (64).
