Murray State hosts Ole Miss and Morehead State at the Pat Spurgin Rifle Range on Saturday

Murray State rifle plays host to Ole Miss and Morehead State for a full slate of matches at the Pat Spurgin Rifle Range on Saturday in Murray, Kentucky.

Last time out, the Racers posted a 4695 aggregate total as Murray State shot 2330 in smallbore and 2365 in air rifle to pick up the victory against the longtime foe UT Martin. Alok Joarder led all shooters in aggregate score in the match by firing a 579 in smallbore and tied a career-high 592 in air rifle to match his career-high in aggregate at 1171. Senior Allison Henry had a big day firing an 1170 aggregate score (579 SB, 591 AR) for nearly a point higher than her career 1169.1 career average.

Ole Miss fired a 4714 on Friday in a win over Jacksonville State (4714-4675). Lea Horvath led all Ole Miss shooters with a 1185 aggregate score.

Morehead State will make their season debut on Saturday.

The Racers will take on Ole Miss at 9 a.m. and will face off with the Eagles at 1 p.m.
