The Murray State women's soccer team is set to take on the Redbirds of Illinois State at Adelaide Street Field on Sunday, October 8 at 1 p.m.
The Racers are coming off their first conference win of the season at home against Northern Iowa, routing the Panthers 4-1.
Mary Hardy scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the home win. Hailey Cole added her second and third goals scored, both of which came on free kicks in the first half. Megan Wilson also scored her first career goal within the first six minutes of the second half.
Keeper Griselda Revolorio has the second-lowest goals allowed average (0.82) and save percentage (0.833), the seventh-most shutouts in the conference (3) and is ninth in saves (35).
MSU ranks in the top five in the Missouri Valley in shots (147) and saves (60).

The Redbirds enter Sunday's match with a 3-4-4 record and are 1-1-3 in conference play in 2023. They are coming off a 1-1 draw against Valpo on the road, with Haley Glover scoring the lone goal for Illinois State.
Glover is the leading scorer for ISU with six goals this season, as well as the most points (12) and shots on goal (14) on the team. She also has taken the second-most shots with 18.
Nine of the 13 goals scored for the Redbirds have come in the first 45 minutes but out of the 19 goals they have conceded this year, 13 were scored in the second half of their matches.
