Murray State volleyball will host Belmont for their final regular season match of the season, Wednesday.

The match will decide which team makes it to the Missouri Valley Conference tournament in Springfield, Mo., with the winner earning a spot in the postseason tournament. Only eight teams make it to the tournament.

Notes

It's a win and in match for Murray State and Belmont in this final match of the season. The Racers are eighth with a 7-10 while Belmont is ninth with a 6-11 record.
Belmont has the matchup upperhand by winning the previous meeting in Nashville 1-3.
The Racers are expected to play without their starting libero and two-time defensive player of the week, Dahlia Miller, for their third match in a row.
With multiple defensive specialist options it will be interesting to see who gets the nod to wear the libero jersey. Julia Fullop took on the libero role last weekend.
Haidi Miliou constantly get better as her intelligent offense is becoming a major weapon for the Racers.
Bailey DeMier will have the option to play Ella Vogel, Darci Metzger, Haidi Miliou, or Elisa Dozio depending on the rotation.
Federica Nuccio provides offense and defense, her back row attacks will be another option for DeMier

Opponents

Belmont
The Bruins are 6-11 in conference and ninth in the conference standings.

Belmont distributes their offensive outlets from Ally Peterson (257 kills), Brooke Gilleland (241) and Kristen Clemons (219 kills). Their main control tower is Kamryn Olson who has racked 1044 assists.

On the back row, Rachel McBride reps the libero jersey while posting 520 digs. Olson contributes in defense with 305 digs through the season.
