The Murray State women's basketball team will travel to Evansville to play against Southern Indiana, Friday.

This will be the Racers sixth meeting against Southern Indiana. MSU leads the series 4-1, winning their last encounter 77-59 last season.

MSU is coming off an 88-75 win over former Ohio Valley Conference opponent, UT Martin on Tuesday.

Scouting Southern Indiana

Southern Indiana is coming off a 57-95 loss to Purdue.
The Eagles' scoring is led by Vanessa Shafford who is averagin 13.2 points per game followed by Meredith Raley with 10.6 points per game.
Shafford also leads the Eagles on the board with 7.2 rebounds per game. She posted a a double-double (21 points and 14 rebounds) on the Eagles' win over NIU.
USI finished eighth in the Ohio Valley Conference regular season last season.
