Racers Set for Final Road Swing at Indiana State and Evansville

Murray State volleyball enters the final stretch of the regular season.

Murray State volleyball set for their final regular season road matches at Indiana State and Evansville, Friday and Saturday.

MSU enters the weekend with a 7-8 conference record and are coming off two four-set losses at home to Missouri State and Southern Ill. They are currently seventh in the Missouri Valley Conference standings.

The Racers won their meetings against Indiana State (3-1) and Evansville (3-0) earlier this season.

The Sycamores are currently 12th in the MVC standings with a 1-14 conference record. They are coming off a 0-2 weekend with losses to Northern Iowa and Drake.

Kira Holland leads the Sycamores' offense with 274 kills. They have two options in setter with Avery Hales leading the team in assists with 452 followed by Hannah Baudin with 381.

The Purple Aces are currently 10th in the MVC standings with a 3-12 conference record. They are coming off a 0-2 weekend with losses to Drake and Northern Iowa.

UE's offense is led by Giulia Cardona who has racked 512 kills to average 5.17, most in the MVC. Kora Ruff plays as the team's control tower with 887 assists while Ainoah Cruz fortifies the back row with 433 digs this season.

- Murray State leads the league in digs with 17.33 per set.
- Dahlia Miller was named MVC Defensive Player of the Week last week after leading the nation in digs per set with seven. She posted 40 digs in the Racers 3-2 win at Valpo.
- Miller was also including in the NCAA Michella Chester's Starting Rotation of last week for her performance.
- Bailey DeMier is first in the MVC in assists with 11.05 per set. She averaged 10.88 assists last weekend.
- Darci Metzger is second in the league in kills per set last weekend with 4.34. She made a total of 30 kills to average 3.75 per set.
- Haidi Miliou averaged 3.13 kills per set with .388 attack percentage while also making nine blocks (1.13 per set).
