The Murray State Women's Basketball Team is set to host Little Rock for their eighth all-time meeting, Thursday. Murray State leads the series 5-2. The Racers won their last meeting 67-65 at Little Rock.

This will be the Racers third meeting against an Ohio Valley Conference opponent. MSU is 2-0 against OVC opponents this season, with a 88-75 win over UT Martin and 93-73 win over Southern Indiana.

MSU enters the game as the nation's leader in scoring offense with 94.4 points per game.

Briley Pena was eight-for-nine from the floor with six-for-seven from range to post 24 points in win over Austin Peay.

Katelyn Young made her sixth consecutive double-digit performance with 21 points against Austin Peay.

The Racers also lead the nation in bench points per game with 45.4.

Scouting Little Rock

Little Rock has a 0-7 season record.
They have played five Power Five opponents: #12 Kansas State (39-77), Arkansas (36-77), Alabama (39-63), Ole Miss (45-58) and Auburn (45-58).
Faith Lee leads the Torjans in points with 83 followed by Jayla Brooks (46) and Jaiyah Harris-Smith (41).
The Trojans made it to the WNITs last year when they fell 42-68 to SMU. They lost in the championship game against Tennessee Tech in their inaugural year at the OVC last year.

What a Racer Win Means?

The Races will have a 6-2 record for their fifth consescutive win.
MSU will take back the series lead against Austin Peay (54-53) that they forfeit last year.
Head Coach Rechelle Turner will be four wins away from her 100th career win.
Will be the Racers' second road win of the season.
