Racers made 56 points in the second half to win over Austin Peay.
In A Nutshell
The Racers took their second road win at the home of rivals Austin Peay, Saturday.
The Governors took the initiative in the first half by outscoring the Racers 26-23 in the first quarter and 19-14 in the second quarter. The first half closed at 37-45 for the Governors.
Murray State found their right off the start of the second quarter when they made a 8-0 scoring run in the first three minutes of the quarter. The Racers kept the momentum going and finished on top with a score of 93-85.
Briley Pena Cannot Miss
Briley Pena posted a career-high of 24 points while shooting 8-9 from the floor and 6-7 from range. Katelyn Young is the Racers' second-highest scorer with 21 points.
Perfect from the Line
Hannah McKay remains perfect from the free throw line by going six for six against Autin Peay. She is 22 for 22 through the season.
High Press
The Racers' high press paid off as they scored 14 points off turnovers to Austin Peay's eight.

Young posted her third 20-plus-point game after earning her diploma six hours before tipoff.
