Teliyah James earn weekly honors after setting season-best and career-best times at Vanderbilt
Murray State track and field's Teliyah James has been named Missouri Valley Conference Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference, today.

James renewed her 200m dash season-best time with 24.26 seconds, moving up to second in the MVC performance list according to TFRRS. She also set a career-best time in the 60m dash (7.50 seconds).

Her time in the 60m dash is 25th in the Southeast Region performance list, while her 200m dash time is 33rd.

The Racers will have a bye week as they prepare for their inaugural MVC Championships, Feb. 26-27.
