National top-25 performance earned Kayla Bell her Missouri Valley Conference honors.
Murray State track and field's Kayla Bell has been named Missouri Valley Conference Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league today.

Bell won the 800m at Ole Miss with a school record time of 2:05.32, breaking Charmaine Thomas's record (2:06.36) set in 1995. Her time is the fastest in the MVC, third in the Southeast Region and 24th nationally.

The Racers will host Austin Peay for Popeyes Battle of the Border, Friday.
