The Murray State women's soccer team is set for a matinee matchup on Sunday, August 20, with the Georgia State Panthers in Atlanta at 12 p.m. CT This will be the first road test for the Racers in the 2023 season.

The matchup will be just the third time in history these two teams have faced each other. The Racers and Panthers matched up for the first time in eight seasons during the 2022 campaign, with Georgia State winning 2-0 in Murray, Kentucky.

Hannah Carter leads the team through one match in shots (3) and shots on goal (2). Carter, along with Morgan Bodker and Audrey Henry, all played the full 90 minutes in the loss to Grambling with 18 total Racers seeing the pitch.

Scouting Report
In their first match of the season, the Panthers tied a program record with 12 goals in a 12-0 blowout against South Carolina State. Forward Brooke Hart and midfielder Aaliyah Faddoul each recorded hat tricks with eight total players netting a goal in the match.
