The Murray State volleyball splits day one at Leatherneck Classic to open their 2023 campaign. The Racers went through two five-set matches, falling to Cleveland State (2-3) before taking their opening-day win over Tennessee State (3-2) to top the day.
MSU did not hold anything back, winning their first set against Cleveland State 25-11. The rest of the match developed into a back-and-forth battle, with the Vikings taking the upper hand.
The Racers found their offense against familiar opponents in Tennessee State, making 65 kills over the Tigers' 43.
