Racers Earn A Point With Second-Straight Draw In Nashville

The Murray State women's soccer team ended Thursday's match in Nashville, Tennessee, with Belmont in a scoreless draw.

The Racers outshot the Bruins 9-3 in the first half and 12-6 for the match. Mary Hardy led the field in shots with six and four of them on goal. Tori Schrimpf added four shots, putting two in frame.

Despite being held without a goal, Murray State was able to create some action in the box against the Bruins, putting up four corner kicks to Belmont's one.

Gigi Revolorio recorded her second career clean sheet in as many matches, notching four saves on six shots faced.

Hardy, Revolorio, Morgan Bodker, Audrey Henry, Hannah Carter, and Kate Stordy all saw the pitch for 90 minutes.

The Racers return to Cutchin Field on Sunday, September 24 to take on Evansville at 2 p.m. before playing on the road for three of the next four matches.
