Murray State volleyball take down Indiana State in four sets to sweep weekend at home.
In A Nutshell
Murray State volleyball takes down Indiana State 3-1 to sweep their home opener weekend and go 2-0 in Missouri Valley Conference play, Saturday.
The Racers won the first and second sets, 25-17 and 25-20, respectively. Indiana State took the third set 25-22 before the Racers took the match with a 25-21 win on the fifth set.
With the win, the Racers improved to an 8-3 record.
Fast Facts
- Darci Metzger led the Racers in kills and digs with 22 kills.
- Ella Vogel became the Racers' clutch closer, making three kills among the Racers' final six points. She posted a total of 18 kills.
- Bailey DeMier made 45 assists.
- Lily Burnett made her second start for the Racers and posted one block solo, five block assists and 11 kills.
