The Murray State women's soccer team is set for a Sunday matinee matchup with Valparaiso in Valparaiso, Indiana at Brown Field at 1 p.m. CT.
The Racers will clash with the Beacons for the eighth time in program history. Valpo leads the series with a 5-2 record entering Sunday's match. In the 2022 season, MSU dropped the regular season matchup at home, 2-1, but eliminated Valpo from the MVC Tournament in the semifinals, 1-0.
Murray State is coming off a 1-0 loss to UIC, ending its three-match unbeaten streak to start the conference portion of the schedule.
Going into the match, Mary Hardy is third in the Valley in shots (27) and fourth in shots per game (2.25). Goalie Griselda Revolorio currently holds the highest save percentage in the MVC and 32nd-best in the country (.853).

The Beacons enter the match with a 5-2-4 record and a 1-0-2 record in conference play. They are coming off a scoreless draw with Missouri State. Valpo were outshot by the Bears 14-9, with Sam Gountouas leading the Beacons with three shots. Abby White put both of her shots taken on target, and Allie Anderson added two shots of her own.
Goalie Nikki Coryell added her fourth shutout of the season with seven saves in goal against Missouri State.
