Racers Extend Winning Streak to 10 at Indiana State

Katelyn Young led the Racers to their fourth conference win at Indiana State.
In A Nutshell
The Murray State Women's Basketball Team grabs their fourth Missouri Valley Conference win with a 75-63 victory over Indiana State, Thursday. They extend their winning streak to 10 and remain the winningest team in the league with a 11-2 record (4-0 MVC Record).

The Racers had a blazing first quarter as when they outscore the Sycamores 26-9. After two back and forth quarters in the second and third, the Racers were able to clinch the game in a tight 24-22 fourth quarter.

Katelyn Young posted her fifth double-double of the season by leading the floor with 25 points while making 12 rebounds.

Stewart's Homecoming
Zoe Stewart is second for the Racers in points by scoring 15 points. The Terre Haute, Indiana, native made eight rebounds to go with her points.

Leave it to Hannah
Hannah McKay showed her reliability by making 10 defensive rebounds. She also made eight points while shooting 3-4 from the free-throw line.

Racers on a Roll
The Racers are now one win away from tying the program's all-time longest winning streak (2008-09). The 2008-09Â team won the Ohio Valley Conference Championship under Rob Cross.
