Murray State Tennis Announces 2024 Schedule

Murray State women's tennis ready for 2024 slate
Murray State women's tennis officially announced their 2024 schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
"I'm very pleased with the schedule we were able to put together this year," said Head Coach Jorge Caetano. "It is a challenging one with no easy matches but I believe every single team will not only challenge us but also prepare us for what we will be seeing in the MVC. We have a talented, experienced team who has been working hard all year and are on a mission to accomplish great things so if you haven't seen us compete yet, you don't want to miss out."
This season's slate is scattered with former rivals including Eastern Kentucky and Western Kentucky along with Austin Peay and Middle Tennessee. The non-conference portion of the schedule includes a road swing to Charleston, South Carolina for matchups with Charleston Southern, College of Charleston, and Coastal Carolina.
The Missouri Valley Conference portion of the schedule gets underway on March 24 when the Racers host Illinois State. MSU hosts four MVC matchups at Bennie Purcell court throughout the spring with Missouri State, Drake, and UIC all slated to visit the Racers. Drake, Illinois State, and UIC all finished among the top four of the MVC in 2023.
The MVC will host it's conference championships in Nashville, Tennessee from April 26-28. For the full 2024 schedule, click here.
