The Racers are played their final fall event at Hampton Cove GC in Northeast Alabama

The Murray State women's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of the 2024-25 schedule by posting a solid third place finish at The Robbie, at Hampton Cove GC in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.

The Racers played the three-day event with a score line of 302-303-306 for a 911 total as Louisville (871) and host Lipscomb (909) made up the top-2.

It was a group of seven players that teed it up for Murray State and Ella Scherer led the Racers with a spot in ninth place on rounds of 73-76-74=223, while Tina von Arx placed 14^th by carding scores of 74-75-77=226.

The Racers now take an extended break until their spring schedule begins with the Rust Buster Match Play (Feb. 10-11) in Orlando, Florida. MSU closes out February with an appearance at the GCU Invitational in Phoenix (Feb. 25-26). March finds the Racers playing the Chris Banister Golf Classic (March 9-11) in Oneonta, Alabama and the Georgia State Invitational (March 24-25) in Johns Creek, Ga. In April, the Racers host their own Jan Weaver Invitational (April 5-6) at Miller Memorial GC. The Missouri Valley Conference Championship (April 5-6) returns to Waterloo, Illinois.
