Murray State women's basketball led through three quarters in 74-60 defeat at LSU
After leading through three quarters, Murray State women's basketball fell to seventh-ranked LSU 74-60 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Friday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Ava Learn led the Racers with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the game.
The Racers carried their lead into the half after outscoring LSU 32-12 in the second quarter before the Tigers fought back and outscored MSU 37-14 in the second half.
Three Racers reached double digit scoring with Halli Poock and Haven Ford joining Learn. Katelyn Young had eight points and eight rebounds in 37 minutes played.
The Racers held LSU to a season-low in points after the Tigers had not scored lower than 95 points in a game on the campaign.Â
