Murray State women's basketball travels to St. Louis for a matchup with the Billikens
Coming off of back-to-back road victories over Memphis and Little Rock, Murray State women's basketball travels to St. Louis for a Tuesday night matchup with the Billikens. Last time out, the Racers picked up a 48-point victory over Little Rock, becoming the first visiting team since 1986 to post 100 or more points over the Trojans.
Haven Ford, Halli Poock, Katelyn Young, and Ava Learn lead MSU in scoring with each averaging 14.8 or more points per game. Young and Learn each average 7.4 rebounds to lead the Racers.
The Racers enter the contest at 3-2 on the season and rank 58th nationally in the NCAA Net Rankings that were released on Monday morning.
Scouting Report
The Billikens enter the game at 3-5 on the season and are coming off a road swing to the west coast with matchups against California Baptist and USC, defeating the Lancers 82-70 and falling to the Trojans 104-65. Peyton Kennedy and Kyla McMakin each average more than 16 points with with Kennedy grabbing over five rebounds per contest.
