Record Setting Racers Post Highest Point Total Ever Against a Division I Opponent

Murray State women's basketball defeated longtime rival Austin Peay 116-80 on Saturday afternoon
Murray State women's basketball defeated Austin Peay 116-80 to set the new record for most points scored against a Division I opponent on Saturday at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky. After knocking down 16 three points with six players reaching double figures, the Racers defeated the Governors by the largest margin in more than 100 all-time meetings.
Halli Poock led MSU with 30 points and eight assists without committing a turnover. Katelyn Young once again reached 20 points to go with six rebounds while Ava Learn have 17 points and 10 rebounds to record her second consecutive double-double. Haven Ford, Briley Pena, and freshman Braxcynn Baker each reached double figures for the first time this season that six different players scored 10 or more points.
As a team, the Racers dished out 22 assists and shot 50 percent on three point attempts.

- The 36-point margin of victory over Austin Peay is the highest in the series that spans 108 games
- Halli Poock scored 30 points and had eight assists in the game with no turnovers
