The Racers set multiple PRs from several student-athletes at the Saluki Fast Start
The Murray State women's track & field team came home with a lot of success from the opener to the indoor season at the Saluki Fast Start in Carbondale, Illinois.
The meet saw the Racers come out of the gate in fine fashion with dozens of personal bests begin set, but especially in the 4X400M Relay where MSU was first and second with times of 3:54.1 and 3:54.8.
"Going into the December meet we are still training very hard and we're just looking for the kids to compete and we think they did that at a high level," said MSU Head Coach Adam Kiesler. "There were some good choices made in competition which is always something you look for. Winning races comes with execution and those who won their events made some very positive changes to do that. We are excited for what's ahead!"
The Racers get back to action at the Commodore Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt (Jan. 10-11).
