The Racers play for the first time in the Lone Star State when they compete in the Texas State Invitational
The Murray State women's golf team gets their 2024 season going Monday in New Braunfels at the Texas State Invitational (Feb. 5-6) at Landa Park Golf Club.
The 54-hole event calls for 36 holes of play on Monday with the final 18 being played Tuesday when the champion of the 15-team event is decided.
The Racers and Drake represent the Missouri Valley Conference in the Texas State event.
The Racers' spring season also included events (Feb. 26-27) in Charleston, S.C., Las Vegas, Nev. (March 11-12), Atlanta, Ga. (March 25-26). The Racers host their own Jan Weaver Invitational (April 6-7) at Miller Memorial, before taking on the MVC Championship (April 14-16) in Waterloo, Ill.
