The Murray State Women's Basketball Team enters the half-way mark of Missouri Valley Conference play with a visit to Southern Illinois, Friday.

The Racers are coming off a 54-73 loss at Belmont, last Friday.

Murray State won their previous encounter with the Salukis 75-70 at home.

The Racers have won the last two previous meetings with the Salukis still leading the all-time series 38-8.

Southern Illinois is current 10th in the Missouri Valley Conference standings with a 2-8 conference play record.
They are led by Laniah Randle who is third in The Valley in scoring with 17.8 points per game. Randle also leads the Salukis on the board with 8.85 rebounds per game.
Quierra Love is the Salukis' control tower with 77 assists this season. She averages 9.2 points per game
