- The Racers opened MVC play with a 2-1 series win over UIC. They are coming off a 1-7 loss at Belmont.
- Jenna Veber is leading the Racers from the circle with a 1.07 ERA and a 10-6 win-lose record.
- Veber has made 17 starts through 20 appearances while posting seven complete games, three shutouts and one no-hitter.
- Catcher Taylor Jackson two away from being the all-time program leader in caught stealing by.
- Adison Hicks leads the Racers' scoring with 12 stolen bases through 13 attempts along with 14 scored runs.
- Lily Fischer and Parker Holcombe each has home runs this past weekend.
- Holcombe hit an inside parker against UIC.
- They dropped the first game 1-2 as they struggled to find offense but came back to dominantly won the second and third games, 9-2 and 6-0 respectively.
