The Murray State softball visits Missouri State for their third Missouri Valley Conference series of the season, Friday and Saturday.

Notes

The Racersare coming off a 1-2 series loss at Illinois State.
Jenna Veber is leading the Racers from the circle with a 1.36 ERA and a 11-6 win-lose record.
Veber has made 18 starts through 23 appearances while posting seven complete games, three shutouts and one no-hitter.
Catcher Taylor Jackson two away from being the all-time program leader in caught stealing by.
Adison Hicks leads the Racers' scoring with 12 stolen bases through 13 attempts along with 16 scored runs.
Lily Fischer and Parker Holcombe each has home runs this past weekend.
Holcombe hit an inside parker against UIC.
Fischer is the current NCAA division I active leader in hit-by-pitch (69).
Catcher Taylor Jackson leads the nation with 13 caught stealing by while the Racers are 24th in the nation in double plays per game (.52)
Murray State placed fourth in the regular season of their inaugural campaign at the Missouri Valley Conference last season. They are picked sixth in the preseason polls.

Series at Glance
This will be the seventh meeting between the Racers and the Bears. They have split the series 3-3 with Missouri State winning their previous meeting 2-3.

This will be their first meeting in Springfield.

Scouting Missouri State
Missouri State is 2-6 in Missouri Valley Conference play. They have won their first home home conference series of the season against Illinois State.

Annie Mueller leads the Bears in RBIs with 16 this season. SHe has a .236 batting average aongiwht a .528 slugging percentage. Kayla Ulrich leads the offense with .328 batting average while posting 19 hits.

In the circle, the Bears have a 4.79 ERA. They are led by Gracie Johnston who has a 4.20 ERA through 22 appearances and starts. Johnston has posted 30 strikeouts.
