The Murray State men’s basketball adds AJ Ferguson, a talented wing for 2024-25
Murray State men's basketball head coach Steve Prohm announced the signing of AJ Ferguson.
Ferguson will be a senior and have one season to play for the Racers in the 2024-25 season.
"We are really excited with the addition of AJ to our program," said Prohm. "He will provide a lot of versatility for us on the perimeter. We love the fact that he has had success in the Missouri Valley Conference and has familiarity with the league as well."

In 2023-24, Ferguson saw action in 25 games and started the final 17 games of the season with a scoring average of 8.8 points and 5.2 rebounds and he also added 22 assists and 12 steals. He had 11 games of double-digit scoring with a career-high 20 points against Chicago State when he hit 7-of-11 from the field. Ferguson had two double-doubles, both against UIC, with one of the games at State Farm Arch Madness when he pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds.
Prior to playing at SIU, Ferguson played the 2021-22 season at East Central (OK), after being named the Houston Chronicle Defensive Player of the Year out of Cypress Park High School.
