The senior from McHenry, Illinois set two personal bests in the heptathlon over the weekend.
Jenna Pauly was named the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Thursday afternoon.
"Jenna has always meant so much to our team, and any recognition she gets along the way is well deserved," head coach Adam Kiesler said.
Pauly saw a top-five finish in the women's heptathlon at the Bobcat Invitational & Multi in San Marcos, Texas. She finished fourth with 5,174 points, setting a new personal record in the event and remains the second-highest heptathlon score in program history.
"Any time you can score over 5,000 points it's a good day, but to PR for her first multi of this outdoor season is awesome," Kiesler added.
The McHenry, Ill. native saw top-10 finishes in six of the seven events, four of which were among the top five. Her fifth-place finish in the javelin throw with a distance of 31.32 meters set a new personal mark for the senior.
This is the second time of the 2023-24 season Pauly has earned weekly conference honors; her last time was for her performance at the Vanderbilt Invitational during the indoor portion of the season.
Pauly and the Racers return to competition on April 6 for a split competition at the South Florida Invite in Tampa, Fla. and the Bill Cornell Invite in Carbondale, Ill.
