Four Racers Named To Missouri Valley Scholar-Athlete Team

Faith Bostick, Kylie Gormann, Jenna Pauly and Alyssa Williams were named to the 2024 Track & Field Scholar-Athlete Team.
Four Murray State track and field athletes in Faith Bostick, Kylie Gormann, Jenna Pauly and Alyssa Williams were named to the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference Track & Field Scholar-Athlete Team.
These four Racers were among 101 student-athletes to be recognized by the MVC for their sport performance and their dedication in the classroom.
Bostick was nominated after maintaining a 3.56 GPA in Integrated Studies focused on Health and Exercise Study. The senior was outdoor conference champion in the 200-meter and runner-up in the 100-meter, along with qualifying for the 100-meter at the NCAA East Regional in Lexington, Kentucky.
Gormann, a sophomore from Centralia, Illinois, rounded out the school year with a 3.62 GPA in Nutrition & Dietetics. She set a new mark in the long jump at the Joey Haines Invite at 5.50 meters and a new best in the triple jump at the South Florida Invitational with a jump of 11.07 meters.
Pauly ended her undergrad career with a 3.86 GPA and has maintained a perfect 4.0 in the Organizational Communication graduate program. The McHenry, Illinois native was the 2024 outdoor conference champion in the heptathlon with a personal-best 5,218 points. Pauly set PRs in the 100-meter hurdles and shot put on her way to posting top-three finishes in five of the seven events.
Pauly also saw podium finishes after coming in third in the long jump and helped the 4x100-meter relay team finish as runner-up.
Williams joined the Scholar-Athlete team with a 3.65 GPA in Nonprofit Leadership Studies. She set a new mark in the 100-meter at the outdoor conference championships with a time of 11.74. The sophomore also joined Pauly in helping her 4x100-meter relay squad to a second-place finish and saw a podium finish in the triple jump with a mark of 11.82 meters.
