Racer Trio Named To USTFCCCA Track & Field Academic Awards

Murray State women's track & field student-athletes Faith Bostick, Simone Joseph and Jenna Pauly were honored as All-Academic Athletes for the 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Track & Field seasons as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Bostick (Rockledge, Fla.), Joseph (Columbia, S.C.) and Pauly (McHenry, Ill.) met a stringent standard for the award, which includes a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25. Performance in their sport is also key to earning the honor including their performance in the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Bostick won the 200-meter event and was runner-up in the 100-meter finals at the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships, while Joseph was part of the Racers' record-setting 4x400 meter relay team and finished fourth in the 400-meter run. Pauly finished up her MSU career in a big way by winning the MVC heptathlon for a second-straight year with a personal best 5,218 points and she also placed second in the MVC long jump.

Bostick and Joseph participated in the NCAA East Regional Preliminary.
