Turner Signs Five for 2025-26 Class

Murray State women's basketball announced five signings for the 2025-26 signing class
Murray State women's basketball announced five signees on Friday as part of their 2025-26 high school signing class. The signees consist of of talent from Missouri, Indiana, Kansas, Illinois and Australia.
Below are accolades and highlights of each of the five signees:
Katie Reed, Forward, 6-3, Washington, Indiana
"I chose Murray State because from the second I stepped foot on campus it felt like home," said Reed. "It has a great family atmosphere, a supportive community, and a winning culture that I'll be blessed to be a part of."
Alli Linke, Forward/Guard, 6-1, Mt. Prospect, Illinois
"I chose Murray State because of the coaches, the players, and their winning culture," said Linke. "The program not only develops good basketball players, but also good people."
Sophie Terry, Forward, 6-0, Raymore, Missouri
"I chose Murray State because of their tight knit culture,' said Terry. "I knew that I would feel at home."
Alice Magnanini, Guard, 6-0, Melbourne, Australia
"I immediately knew Murray was somewhere I would be pushed to be my best, but also taken care of as my new home away from home," said Magnanini. "Murray has such a strong community feel."
Mary Grant, Guard, 5-8, Shawnee Mission, Kansas
"I chose Murray State because it immediately felt like home," said Grant. "I love the family-like feel and winning culture."

- Helped lead Washington High School to a 2025 sectional championship
- Named to the IBCA Supreme 15 Underclassmen All-State Team
- Earned ICGSA All-State First Team honors
- Evansville Courier and Press girls basketball All-Southwest Indiana 1st team
- Lettered four years in softball and two years in volleyball

- MSLE Conference Player of the Year
- Named to the Daily Herald and Sun Times All-Area Teams
- New Gazette All-State Team member
- Holds the PHS single-season record for points, rebounds, and steals
- Two-time all conference member in volleyball

Sophie Terry, Forward, 6-0, Raymore, Missouri
- Earned All-District honors on three occasions
- Named two-time All-Conference
- Has scored over 1000 career points at RPHS
- Four year varsity letter

- Represented the state of Victoria for five years
- Led the U18 team to state and national titles in 2024

- Member of the U15 Adidas National Champions
- Two-Time State Champion at Bishop Miege
- Three-time 4A player of the year nominee
- Named All-State First Team
- Placed 11th in the state in swimming
