Racers Set for Midweek Pair Against Lindenwood

The Murray State Baseball team (8-3, 0-0 MVC) will return to Johnny Reagan Field for two games this week starting Tuesday. The Racers will face the Lindenwood Lions, (8-8, 0-0 OVC), on Tuesday (Mar 11) and Wednesday (Mar 12).

MSU is looking to snap a two games skid after dropping the back two games of their three-game series against Western Illinois this past weekend.

Redshirt senior Dustin Mercer will enter Tuesday riding an 11 game on base streak. Out of Weddington, N.C., Mercer has reached base safely in all of the Racers' games this year including ten games in which he has accounted for one or more base hits.

Will Vierling added to his team lead in home runs. The junior transfer out of Mequon, Wisconsin, Vierling hit his fifth home run Friday and notched four hits on the weekend.

Murray State swept their three series against Lindenwood in 2024. Tuesday will mark the fourth meeting between the two schools.

Both games will stream live on ESPN+.

First pitch for both games will be at 3PM.
