The Racers played in St. Simons Island, Ga. at Sea Palms Resort

The Murray State Racers men's golf team came home with a 13th place finish at the Peoples Golf Championship at Sea Palms Resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia.

MSU's best round was their first on Thursday with a 289, as they finish at 871, one shot from Marshall (870) and tied with Western Carolina.

MSU's Trey Lewis placed 25^th on rounds of 70-71-74=215, while Trey Wall carded the best round of the event for the Racers with a final round 2-under-par 69 to place39th at 217.
