Tee Time: Racers Take on Old Hawthorne at Mizzou Event

The Racers are on the road in Columbia, Mo. for the Johnie Imes Invitational Monday and Tuesday
The Murray State women's golf team plays The Johnie on Monday and Tuesday, hosted by Missouri at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia.
With 36 holes of play on Monday starting at 8 a.m., the Racers will be paired with South Dakota and Texas A&M Commerce.
As the Racers get into their third event of the fall season, the upgrade in the level of competition is noticeable under Racer Coach Philip Nelson. By the time the Racers finish in spring 2026, they will have competed against 15 Power-4 opponents, a program record.

Murray State sophomore, Elin Tynan, is in the No. 1 slot this week after being named Co-Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week after her second-place finish last week in Paducah, Kentucky.
