The Racers play the Drake Bulldogs Wednesday in Des Moines, Iowa
The Murray State Racers take the nation's fifth-longest win streak to Des Moines, Iowa on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. game against the Drake Bulldogs.
MSU's run began in November with a win over George Washington at the Cayman Islands Classic and now they've also won their first eight games in Missouri Valley Conference play, their best start in four seasons as members of the league.
The Racers (16-3) knocked off Indiana State at home Saturday 85-81 and are 15-2 this season when they get to 80 points.
MSU has won 12-straight games since their visit to the Cayman Islands Classic in November.
When the Racers play at Drake Wednesday, they'll be trying for back-to-back wins at the Knapp Center.
The Racers are 3-1 in road games with wins at Valparaiso, UIC and Evansville since a loss in December at SMU.
MSU enters the Iowa week with games at Drake and UNI as the top scoring team in The Valley (87.8ppg) good for 20th nationally.
