Racers to Host Memphis in Midweek Match

The Murray State Racers will play host to the Memphis Tigers for a Wednesday morning match at 9:00 a.m. CT at the Pat Spurgin Rifle Range in Murray, Kentucky.

Currently, the Racers are ranked 11th in the CRCA poll while the Tigers come in two spots ahead in ninth. The Tigers' aggregate average of 4720.857 is ninth in the nation, while the Racers are tenth with an average of 4708.112. Memphis averages scores of 2345 in smallbore and 2375.857 in air rifle, while Murray State averages scores of 2336.556 and 2371.556.

Sophomore Carlotta Salafia currently leads the Racers with an average aggregate of 1183.428 and air rifle average of 597.714, while freshman Lea Soulé has the top smallbore average at 588.889.

Emmet Bodrogi leads the Tigers with smallbore and aggregate averages of 587.714 and 1181, and Gabriela Zych with an air rifle average of 594.857.

Following this midweek match, the Racers return to action in Martin, Tennessee, at the 2026 OVC Rifle Championships on February 7-8.
