The Racers are the No. 4 seed for Friday's game at the Enterprise Center
The Murray State Racers take on the UIC Flames Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the quarterfinals of State Farm Arch Madness Missouri Valley Conference Tournament at Enterprise Center.
The Racers are coming off an 87-78 defeat in the season finale to the Bradley Braves in Peoria.
Even though MSU won only four of their last 12 games, they still managed to nab the No. 4 seed this week in St. Louis.
The Racers' 20 overall wins and 12 league wins in 2025-26 marks their high water mark in four seasons in The Valley.
In their first three appearances at Arch Madness, the Racers are 2-3.
MSU Head Coach Ryan Miller came into the season with 15 new players and guided them to 20 wins, making Miller just the fourth rookie head coach at Murray State to win 20.
With the MVC postseason awards still to come this week, the Racers are expected to see seniors Fred King and Javon Jackson to get recognition as well as star freshman, Roman Domon.
The winner of the Racers and Flames advances to Saturday's semifinal round at 2:30 p.m. to meet the winner of No. 1 seed Belmont and either No. 8 Southern Illinois or No. 9 Drake.
