At Murray State
Before MSU
- Joined the Racers for the 2025-26 season as a transfer from Creighton.
- Turned in an amazing solo season with the Racers as one of the best for a front line player in recent seasons.
- First game as a Racer vs MVSU at home, went 5-5 from the fueld for 13 points and six rebounds.
- Scored 24 points on 8-8FG and 8-9FT with 10 rebounds and five blocked shots vs Nicholls, to become the first Racer with 20/10/5 since Ed Daniel scored 20 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and blocked five shots against Lipscomb on Nov. 26, 2012.
- In MSU’s 115-100 win over Akron, blocked four shots, scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
- Posted his second double-double of the season with a 16 points/11 rebounds performance in the MVC opener against Drake.
- Scored 19 points on 8-13FG at Valparaiso with four blocked shots.
- Had a career-high 16 rebounds with 18 points in MSU’s win at UIC on New Year’s Day.
- Had a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds against Indiana State at home and he added four blocked shots.
- Had his sixth double-double at MSU with 16 points and 11 rebounds at UNI.
- Was 9-9 from the field at Belmont & 4-4 from the free throw line for 22 points and eight rebounds.
- Had another monster game at home vs UIC with his eighth double-double of the season with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
- Named MVC Player of the Week (Feb. 9) for the first time in the season after scoring 16.5 points per game and a league-best 11.5 rebounds per game. He was an efficient 12-of-17 from the field (70.6).
- Hit his first career 3-pointer at home against UIC and followed it with his second at home against UNI.
- King averaged 8.3 rebounds per game as the MVC leader.
- He is the first Racer to lead in conference rebounding since Ed Daniel led the Ohio Valley Conference with an average of 10.0 in the 2012-13 season.
- King’s 405 rebounds makes him just the sixth Racer all-time to grab 400 rebounds in a single season for the Racers and the first since Popeye Jones had 431 in the 1992-92 season.
- King led the Racers in field goal percentage at .643 on 157-244 from the field for seventh place on MSU’s all-time single season list.
- Among players that had at least 240 attempts, King’s .643 percentage second all-time at MSU behind only Jarvis Williams (2013-14) at .648 (184-of-284).
- King was not only the first Racer to lead the MVC in a statistical category, he did it in three in the 2025-26 season.
- King led the MVC in rebounding (8.3rpg), field goal percentage (.643) and blocked shots (62).
- The last Racer to lead in field goal percentage was Demond Robinson in the OVC in 2020-21 (.634) and Ed Daniel led the OVC in blocked shots (50) in 2011-12.
- Was named the MVC Newcomer and added an appointment to the MVC All-Newcomer Team and All-Defensive Team, plus a spot on the All-MVC First Team.
Before MSU
- King, out of Mangrove Cay, Andros, Bahamas, played three seasons (2022-25) at Creighton and reunites with MSU Head Coach Ryan Miller, who was an assistant with the Bluejays and is Murray State’s 18th head coach in 2025-26.
- Gained experience with the Bluejays as the backup to two-time All-America center Ryan Kalkbrenner, one of the best big men in college basketball.
- November 2024, made a start against Notre Dame, played a career-high 26 minutes and put up 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting with five rebounds and four blocked shots.
- In three seasons at Creighton, played played extended time (games of more than 15 minutes) 11 times where he shot 64% from the field, averaged 10.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks.
- 2022-23 at Creighton as a freshman, named BIG EAST Player of the week after a pair of double-double performances against Arizona State and Marquette where he combined for 32 points (16-of-19 FG) with 21 rebounds.
- Prior to playing at Creighton, King developed his game at the NBA Academy Latin America in Mexico.
- Emerged as a four-star recruit in the Class of 2022.
- In 2021, averaged 23 points and 12 rebounds over three contests.
