Bass Selected to Preseason MVC Team, Racers Picked Fourth

MURRAY, Ky – Breece Bass has been announced as a member of the 2026 Preseason MVC Team, the only Racers to receive the honor.

Bass enters her junior season after a sophomore campaign worthy of a First-Team All-MVC selection where she led the Missouri Valley in shots taken.

The Racers were ranked as the fourth team in the MVC in the preseason Coaches poll, behind Drake, Illinois State, and UIC.

Bass and the Racers begin the 2026 regular season Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT at Ole Miss.
