Coming out of Madisonville Ky., Jaiveon Eaves of Murray State men's basketball saw action in 30 games last season as a junior and as a senior, he recently set his career-high scoring game twice in a week. Coming to Murray state from John A. Logan College, Eaves was named National Junior College Athletics Association Second Team All-America. Today on the program, Eaves talks of how Murray State is the place for him and about his transformation to getting into the best shape of his life. In MSU Athletics news, the Racer women's basketball team wins for a fifth time in a row and MSU volleyball star, Rachel Giustino, brings in more hardware after her stellar senior season.

Both Murray State Basketball teams are in action week as the postseason continues in 2026. Combining for a school record 51 wins in a single season, the Racer Women are headed to the NCAA Tournament for a second-straight season and the MSU men are playing in the NIT. And we will also check in on the progress of the turf project at Johnny Reagan Field, the home of Murray State Baseball.
