It was an amazing time when Racer basketball great and hall of famer, Stewart Johnson, came back to Murray State for the first time since his final game in 1966. The ensuing halftime ceremony to retire his jersey No. 40 is the thing of great memories of a great Racer.

Both Murray State Basketball teams are in action week as the postseason continues in 2026. Combining for a school record 51 wins in a single season, the Racer Women are headed to the NCAA Tournament for a second-straight season and the MSU men are playing in the NIT. And we will also check in on the progress of the turf project at Johnny Reagan Field, the home of Murray State Baseball.
