2008: Appeared in 18 games, 16 starts, before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season...hit .321 with two doubles, one triple, one home run and 15 RBIs...drove in a pair of runs against Bradley on opening weekend...went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI against Nicholls State...capped off a 3-for-4, two-RBI day against Belmont wtih an inside-the-park home run to left field...had a bases-clearing double in the first inning against Southeast Missouri.
BEFORE MSU: Played the 2007 season at Jefferson State College and the 2006 season at Southwest Tennessee CC...helped Collierville High to a combined 71-18 record in his last two seasons, including a No. 7 national ranking in 2005...helped the Dragons to district, regional and substate titles in 2004 and 2005...earned all-region and all-district honors in 2004 and 2005...batted .415 in his senior year (2005) and .420 in 2004.
