2011: For the second straight year, was a key player for the Racers, playing in 29 matches... Set career high in digs vs. Texas A&M-CC (Sep. 2), it was the seventh highest single-match total in Racer history... Contributed to defensive unit that finished the year ranked 36th in the nation in digs per set with 17.22... Selected as captain for 2012 season.
2010: Was a key starter for the Racers, participating in 29 matches and starting in 24...finished the season second on the team in digs (302), fourth in assists (26) and fifth in service aces (8)...recorded a career-best 22 digs against Loyola (Sep. 10)...tallied one kill at Tennessee Tech (Nov. 15)...helped the team at a No. 37 ranking in the NCAA for Digs per Set (16.92)...named to the MSU Dean’s List for the Fall 2010 semester and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2009: Made an immediate impact on the defensive side for the Racers...missed just two matches for MSU...was second on the team with 265 digs...named to the Dean’s List at Murray State during Fall and Spring of the 2009-10 school year... named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
BEFORE MSU: A two-year member of the Incarnate Word Academy varsity team...finished second on the team in kills and digs as a junior...earned All-District First Team honors in 2007 and 2008... helped the Red Knights to a fourth-place finish at the Missouri State Championships in 2007 and a third-place finish in 2008...moved to libero as a senior... was the only libero in the State of Missouri to earn All-State First Team honors...the Red Knights finished the 2008 season 30-9-1...named to the All-Region First Team in 2008...a member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Born Lydia Katharine Orf, Feb. 13, 1991 in St. Charles, Mo....daughter of Gary and Shelly Orf... has two brothers; Andrew (19) and Sam (12), and one sister; Maddie (16)...Majoring in marketing.
