BEFORE MSU: A two-year member of the varsity squad at Marion HS...Was a 2009 South Seven All-Conference selection, also named defensive Player of the Year for the Wildcats... Won 11 varsity letters while at Marion for soccer (4), basketball (4), volleyball (2) and track and field (1)... Was also a two-time South Seven All-Conference selection in basketball... Was also a four-year member of the marching band, playing the sousaphone, trombone and bass trombone... A member of the National Honor Society... Played two years of volleyball at John A. Logan College and helped lead the Lady Vols to two straight conference and regional championships... Named 2010 Great Rivers Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year... Finished 2010 ranked in the top five nationally for blocking... Finished 2011 ranked in the top 25 for hitting efficiency and in the top 50 for blocking, nationally... Named 2011 GRAC Player of the Year.
