Before MSU:Â Comes to the MSU program after an outstanding career at Shelton State, Ala. JC where he was an honorable mention All-American...In 2005-06 he averaged 14.4 points and 8.7 rebounds and his team was ranked third in the nation...As a freshman at Shelton in 2004-05 his team placed 8th at the NJCAA Championship...Played prep basketball at Henderson High School and ended his career there as the school's best all-time in rebounding and blocked shots...He was named First-Team All-State in Alabama in Class 5A and played in the Alabama North-South game.
