2015: Boegel led the Racers in most pitching categories on the year ... he registered a team-high 15 starts, 86 innings pitched and 70 strikeouts ... he also recorded the lone complete game for MSU in 2015 in an 8-4 win over Eastern Illinois (3/29) ... Boegel went 2-6 overall on the season and recorded a 5.44 ERA ... he had a season-best nine strikeouts, twice (2/28 and 4/24) ... Boegel's other victory in 2015 came against Morehead State (5/15) in the season finale ... Boegel's 15 starts were the most in the OVC and the second-most in program history ... Boegel finished eighth in the league in innings pitched and ninth in strikeouts ... his .284 opponent batting averaged ranked 10th in the OVC
Before MSU: Played two seasons for Metropolitan Community College…helped the team become Region 16 Champions his first season…had seven appearances with 19 strikeouts in 27.0 innings…played four seasons at Kewaskum High School…helped his team become Conference Champions all four seasons...was All-Conference during all four seasons…named Player of the Year, and first team All-State his sophomore and junior season…became the Pre-season Louisville Slugger All-American his junior year…during his senior year, named Player of the Year and named to the second team All-State.
