- Was part of an amazing 2025 season in which the Racers won a school record 44 games, tied for the Missouri Valley Conference regular season championship, and advanced all the way to the college World Series.
- Started 60 games at second base for the Racers, as the team became the Cinderella squad in winning the Oxford regional of the NCAA tournament, the super regional at Duke, and played two games in the NCAA college World Series in Omaha.
- Led the team and the MVC with an on base percentage of .496, which was 39th in NCAA DI.
- Among 25 players with 200 or more bats, Decker was 19th in the nation.
- Second on the team in batting average .351 (7th in the MVC), one of seven Racers with at least 200 bats.
- Was ninth in the MVC with 18 doubles and fifth in triples with three.
- Was second on the team with 47 walks (6th in MVC) and led the team with 15 instances of being hit by pitch (3rd in MVC).
- His 15 hit by pitch at bats is third all time at Murray State behind Derrick Yoder‘s record 27 HBP in 2015.
- Had a season long 12 game hit streak.
- Had 19 games of multiple hits, including a pair of four hit games, against Kentucky State and the first game of the NCAA super regional at Duke.
- In the Ncaa Oxford regional, went 5-for-17 in four games with four runs scored and a pair of RBI with three walks.
- In the super Regional of three games at Duke led ,the Racers with a .571 batting average on 8-for-14 at the plate with seven RBI.
Before MSU
- Named to the All-MVC team as the first Racer second baseman to earn an all-conference honor since Jordan Cozart did in the Ohio Valley Conference in 2021.
- Joined the Racers from Wallace State Community College where he appeared in four games in 2024 with four hits in eight at bats.
- At Sellersburgh, Indiana at Silver Creek High School, was a career .410 hitter and .523 on-base in 74 games
- Was named to the Indiana Class 3A All-State Team at SCHS where he played for his father, Joe.
